I am now a Blacksmith!

I have finally taken my passing interest in metal-work and smithing into the realm of reality! I built a real working forge in my back yard with everyday materials. I started with a cast iron chimnela that was my mother-in-laws that she no longer used, and built a base out of recycled bricks. I heat my fire with coal from the basement of an old house in the neighborhood and I use metal that I get from different sources, sometimes recycled, sometimes not. I like using lots of different materials to create useful and fun items. Keep checking back to see my work!
